The Essex Map website is owned and maintained by The Essex Alliance (previously known as Essex VCS Alliance).
The Essex Alliance are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. We are fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and as such are registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
We may collect the below items of personal information. These are required so that we can process your organisation’s application to join the alliance, your personal membership details, and send marketing communications. We retain your information throughout your membership with the charity.
We do not share your personal information with any third parties, without your explicit permission.
Due to the nature of The Essex Map, we do not add our website users to a database for marketing communications. We may occasionally send emails to website users who have added a listing to The Essex Map, where we believe there is a genuine business interest in the content we are sending.
If you register as a member of The Essex Alliance, however, you will be automatically added to our MailChimp database so that we can send you our weekly newsletter of grants, awards, news, job vacancies and other content relevant to your work in the third sector.
You can remove yourself from this database at any time by clicking the “update your preferences” or “unsubscribe from this list” links in the footer of any email, or by emailing us at [email protected].
