Bringing Audio Recordings For The Blind And Partially Sighted
We supply an audio Weekly News recording made up of local news and articles, mostly taken from The Wickford & Billericay Gazette and The Echo.
We also send out monthly recordings the first being Insight Magazine the second being an information recording called
The Informant downloaded from Infosound a specialist website for the blind and partially sighted.
The Weekly News, Insight Magazine and The Informant recordings are all supplied free of charge to our listeners. The recordings are available on a Cd, or a special speaker (Boom Box) that we lend, or on our web site. You can also find us on the Wireless For The Blind App.
You don’t have to be a resident in the Wickford or Basildon area to receive our recordings – several of our listeners are people who have moved out of the Essex area but like to receive local news.
