Southend Museums is the museum service for Southend. We look after 4 museums in Southend:
– Southend Central museum
– Beecroft Art Gallery
– Prittlewell Priory
– Southchurch Hall
All our museums and temporary exhibitions and free for all. Our temporary exhibitions always have a free children trail and activities. Our museums were designated as warm spaces.
We are always recruiting and training volunteers working on visitors service, heritage housekeeping, events, cataloguing collections etc.
We host and work with many local groups and charities including U3A groups, refugees, wellbeing charities etc.
