Shopmobility is a scheme designed to help people with limited mobility to access the shops and facilities in Colchester town centre.
We have a range of manual wheelchairs and electric scooters to hire for part or all of the day.
We also have a number of wheelchairs and a travel scooter which can be hired over a longer period of time for use anywhere.  They are often taken on holiday or to visit relatives.
The service operates as a membership scheme, which links to our Community Transport team, should members also require access to a social car or minibus. Â Membership forms can be accessed using the link.
Our trained staff provide support and tuition to new members.
We are located at Winsley’s House on the High Street in Colchester. Shopmobility is open Monday to Friday from 10am until 4pm.
