Creative dance classes for older adults.
Classes will include a combination of seated and standing work and can be adapted for those living with various health conditions.
Classes will deliver dance content that question, mobilise and above all offer the older people a safe environment to practice a shared endeavour.
RE:Generation is our work with older communities (50+ age). We offer classes at residential housing units and village halls and anyone is welcome to attend. Highly trained dance artists run our weekly sessions that are built to question, mobilise and above all offer older people a safe environment to practice a shared endeavour. In our sheltered housing classes, there is also time for tea, biscuits and a chat at the end of each session.
Sessions take place each Thursday –
11.00 – 12.00 Class
12.00 – 12.30 Social
Coates Lodge, Hollis Lock, Chelmer Village, Chelmsford, CM2 6SL
AND
13.30 – 14.30 Class at Tillingham Village Hall, Vicarage Lane, Tillingham, CM0 7TW
If you are a resident of CHP Or Moat Foundation housing schemes you are also entitled to free transport to help you access the class. Please contact us for more information if you require this support.
