Rayleigh, Rochford and District Association for Voluntary Service (RRAVS) is an independent charity which supports and represents the interests of all voluntary and community groups across the Rochford District. This includes Rayleigh, Hockley, Rochford, Ashingdon, Barling, Canewdon, Fambridge, Great Wakering and Hullbridge.
To support we: –
- Provide monthly bulletins on funding that is available for the voluntary sectors
- Promote fundraising events via our social media and to our members
- Provide training events and workshops on a wide range of topics
- Help with recruiting volunteers
- Put you in touch with organisations to arrange DBS checks for staff and volunteers
- Support groups of volunteers who provide services to the local community. Our current projects include:-
- Â Â Bereavement Friendship and Support
- Â Â Tablet, Phone, Laptop and Computer Help & Advice including Home Visits
- Â Â Weight Loss Sessions
- Â Â Knitting for Charity Groups
