This Spring, it quickly became clear that we needed to adapt the way we deliver our services for people living with or affected by HIV. It was been incredibly difficult to fundraise to continue our services and, at such a pivotal point in the history of HIV, we must forge forward. We need you, now more than ever.
This program is designed to provide you with the opportunity to understand your diagnosis, and to learn more about living with HIV . The program will also provide you with an opportunity to meet others that share your experiences and can offer emotional and practical support. Specific topics explored include:
- Manging your diagnosis
- Living well with HIV
- Understanding HIV and the Law
- Understanding treatment options and U=U (undetectable equal untrasmittable)
- Successful relationships and disclosure
- Dispelling stigma
The programme consists of six session that run as a rolling program.
The interactive sessions are held on Thursday evenings and run for one and a half hours.
