We are a registered charity, based in south Essex, providing activities for Neurodivergent* children and young people (*Autistic, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Sensory Processing, Social Anxiety), including a Woodland Warriors outdoor activity group, Mindful Crafts and yoga. All our groups and activities can be found here www.ticketsource.co.uk/myotas
Your child does not need a diagnosis to access our activities – all parent/carer support events are free, but there is a small charge for children’s activities. If your family is struggling financially please contact us, as we are able to offer some free sessions.
We are the co-writers of the book Supporting Your Neurodivergent Child, commissioned by Essex County Council/NHS Trusts, a free copy of which can be ordered/downloaded here Neurodiversity – Essex Family Forum
We run coffee mornings, evening and on-line support groups for parents/carers, workshops and park walks/talks (which end with coffee and cake!). We have a private Facebook group for parents here (1) MyOTAS – Parents’ & Carers’ Support Group Autism ADHD | Facebook
You can also contact our Family Support Team for help using this Referral Form – we can arrange to call you back, meet via Zoom, or in person.
Please share our info with any families you know who could benefit, whether they have concerns about their child/teen and are questioning whether they could be autistic/ADHD, or if they have a diagnosis already and need support.
