The Café normally operates 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday during school term time, with reduced hours during school holidays. We have increased the opening hours of the café by 6.5 hours per week (2 hours on Tuesdays and 4.5 hours on Thursdays). We provide tea and coffee, squash to drink, soup and beans on toast to eat for adults and children. Food and drink can be obtained free of charge by use of a code word. We offer heating, safe space, live television viewing. There is a children’s corner with board games craft and colouring. We have free WiFi. We offer pastoral support – for example, help with phone calls and emails. We can offer access to personal hygiene products and access to Food Bank vouchers where appropriate. We ran a CAP money budgeting course in January 2023 and also stared a Kintsugi Hope mental wellbeing course in January 2023.
