Maldon and District CVS offer a programme of support to local residents to keep them safe and well in their own homes.
Services include:
- Hospital Discharge Hub – community -based support for adults recently discharged from hospital
- Buddy Walking – in which volunteers can accompany you on weekly short walks to help you regain your confidence when leaving the house
- Prescription delivery support – volunteers can collect and deliver your prescription to your local surgery for reasons including illness or disability
- Community Hub Support – Project Officer attendance at local foodbanks and community hubs to offer information and advice on accessing essential supplies, services and support
