We run a small museum and archive of local photographs, publications and historical information. We are located in Manningtree Library. Our volunteers open the museum for all visitors on:
- Wednesdays 10.00 – 12.00 noon
- Fridays 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm
- Saturdays 10.00 – 12.00 noon (plus on Saturdays during June, July & August – 2.00 to 4.00 pm)
Local history talks are also held every other month starting 7.30 pm in the Methodist Church Hall, South Street – CO11 1BQ. Free entry for Members (£12 p.a.) & under 16 yrs, Visitors – £3.00.
We also arrange local history walks for groups visiting the area.
