Livewire is a non-profit community theatre charity. All of the projects we run are completely free for all. Not only do we believe in the arts being accessible for all, but we also believe that the arts is a platform for change, to build confidence, make friendships and paving the way for an educated future.
We strive to bring young people to Livewire who have had little or no contact with the arts before. Through using theatrical projects we aim to improve confidence, self-esteem, life skills, aspirations, team work, self motivation and to give the opportunity to explore in a safe space.
The Livewire Trust believes that all young people have the potential to succeed in anything they wish, if they are within a supportive and safe environment. We believe, that as a community we should encourage, debate with, challenge, inspire, teach, learn from and engage our young members as they are our future.
