Home-Start Essex aims to give children the best possible start in life by supporting parents and caregivers to feel less isolated, to build their confidence in themselves and their parenting and to find ways to manage the challenges they face. We build trusting, helpful relationships with families and deliver a range of flexible support to meet their individual needs.
Our support is compassionate, confidential, and non-judgemental. Our staff and volunteers all have parenting experience themselves or experience of working with families and children.
We work alongside parents, in their communities, to help them cope with the stresses and strains of life and make sure they have the skills, confidence and strength they need to nurture their children.
