Hearing Help Essex exists to relieve the practical issues, loneliness, and isolation, that hearing loss so often brings. The staff and volunteers can provide practical help, support and guidance for those with hearing loss in Essex (excluding those in unitary authority of Southend).
Our safe and socially distanced NHS Hearing Aid Support Service is available by appointment from our venues in Chelmsford, Braintree, Heybridge, Pitsea and Stansted.
Our Information, Advice, and Guidance services are available from the Resource Centre in Chelmsford and appointments are available to book Monday to Friday.
We have a wide variety of assistive equipment including Telephones, TV Listeners, Doorbells etc. at our Resource Centre, which is available to try out either on site or in your own home. Visits to our Resource Centre are by appointment only.

We are committed to helping clients who are shielding or housebound and in need of essential support so will also be offering a doorstep service to meet such needs.
Please contact us if you wish a visit to be arranged; due to demand please only request a doorstep service if you are unable to attend an appointment at our Resource Centre.
