Friends and Places Together offers the chance for friendships to develop outside of the school or college environment.
We support anyone who has a disability that involves sensory, learning disabilities, communication difficulties, physical impairments, people with complex health needs as well as people with Autism and Aspergers.
Our service is broken down into :-
Our services
Direct Payment – one to one support to build up friendships groups away from schools and families, To build confidence, independence and self esteem. To support a number of people to skills up their independence to help them move into their own accommodation.
Friendships – small friendship groups maximum of 3 friends going out with their mates offering a range of inclusive community activities
Weekenders – 16 years old to 19 years old to support a number of small groups to meet at the weekend.
Short breaks – we offer a number of short breaks/holidays based on what friendship groups asks us to plan for them
Holidays – we have providing a number of England and overseas holidays with friends based again s on what people want to travel to
School holidays – we offer day trips and a range of activities to enable young people to meet friends in the 6 weeks holiday
