Based in Braintree, First Stop Centre is a grass roots project that offers real and immediate help to members of the community who are struggling with problems in their lives.
​Our drop in service is there to facilitate face to face help with social problems, universal credit and provide a fixed address for those for our postal holding service. First Stop Centre is well connected in the community so if we are unable to help we will be able to advise services that can. Anyone is welcome so feel free to come along to our drop in service during open times. Our canteen provides service users affordable meals and a safe environment to chat and befriend others who may be in a similar situations.
Our centre also serves as a location for delivering services such as counselling, anger management groups, English, Maths and ICT lessons and much more.
