Epilepsy Action is a community of people committed to a better life for everyone affected by epilepsy.
We want high quality, accessible epilepsy healthcare services, so that people with epilepsy have the support they need to manage their condition.
We want wider awareness and understanding of epilepsy, so that people living with the condition are treated with fairness and respect.
The Forum is made up of volunteers from branches and Coffee & Chat groups across Essex to provide people with epilepsy and their family an opportunity to meet with others who have epilepsy. They exist to improve the lives of everyone affected by epilepsy. As the Essex Forum they want to ensure society has a greater understanding of epilepsy which is based on fact not fiction.
All local branch and group face to face meetings and activities have been suspended during COVID19.
We realise that many people rely on their group meetings and activities for information and support. Many of our local groups have therefore started meeting virtually using Zoom. To find out if your local group is meeting virtually please search for epilepsy support in your area via the website.
