English for Women supports those in our communities who are isolated by language barriers. We provide free, safe, welcoming spaces where women at our EfW sessions, and everyone at our EfA sessions, can make friends, improve their English, gain cultural understanding, and build positive futures.

EfW sessions are women-only spaces, with English learning taking place in central Chelmsford on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings, and in Goodmayes on Thursday mornings. All EfW sessions include supervised play areas for pre-school children who accompany their parent to sessions.
EfA sessions welcome women and men, and take place on Monday mornings in central Chelmsford, and on Wednesday mornings online (open to anyone in the UK).
