DNA’s Dancing with Dementia classes are vibrant, engaging sessions designed for individuals living with dementia and their companions/caregivers, offering a joyful space to connect through movement. Each session invites participants to explore creative dance, using music, repetition, and props to stimulate the mind and body. By combining gentle physical activity with mental engagement, the class supports cognitive health, promotes well-being, and fosters a sense of community.
Spanning 1.5 hours, the experience includes a 45-60 minute guided dance class, followed by a relaxed social gathering where participants can unwind over tea and coffee.
