Parent Support workshop and advice clinics are here to help if you are experiencing difficulties relating to the pressures of family life. If you feel you would benefit from meeting others who may be experiencing similar difficulties you can attend a monthly workshop / group with the opportunity to book one to one guidance or signposting sessions with a qualified Social Worker. (remotely or face to face).
The workshop / group will be on the 3rd Thursday of the month starting 15th May 12-2 at Fairycroft House, Saffron Walden, It will provide an opportunity to meet and discuss issues with the facilitator and other parents and may include:
- Impact of acrimonious parental separation
- Isolated families, particularly single parents
- Managing challenging behaviour including diagnosed and undiagnosed additional needs
- Impact of financial difficulties
- Managing children at the edge of anti-social behaviour such as low level criminal behaviour and vulnerability to involvement in gang and drug culture.
There will be an opportunity to book one-to one guidance or signposting sessions with a qualified Social Worker after attending the workshop.
