We provide free, confidential and impartial advice for people in the Epping Forest area. This includes issues with debt, relationships, benefits, housing, and work. Every year we see on average 2,500 clients and help them with over 8,500 issues.
We have a small number of paid staff but our service is mostly delivered by our dedicated volunteers. We also campaign on big issues affecting people’s lives and our goal is to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face.
We’re an independent charity and part of the Citizens Advice network across England and Wales.
We have offices in Loughton library, Epping, Waltham Abbey and outreaches at Ongar Library, Limes Farm, Norway House and Waltham Abbey Health Clinic.
However, we are currently operating a telephone only service with no face-to-face appointments in line with government guidance on coronavirus.
Please note that calls to our number are charged at the local area rate. You can request a call-back from one of our advisers so that we can contact you free-of-charge.
