We also provide Health & Wellbeing (eg. Welfare Benefits) Advice & Advocacy, Counselling & Psychological Interventions, Acupuncture / Massage & Exercise Equipment for Patients / Clients & Carers.
The NHS provides Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) for people with Decompression Sickness & Carbon Monoxide Poisoning. Further, MacMillan Cancer Support has information on HBOT. Our success in treating Stage 4 ‘Terminal’ Cancer has enabled people to receive NHS treatment, reducing side effects of Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy & Surgery and helping to prevent metastasis.
There are also Clinical Reviews indicating the importance of HBOT to prevent Amputations, particularly of Diabetic Foot Ulcers and Crush Injuries, and, alongside Normobaric Oxygen, to reduce the occurrence of Headaches. We often treat Sports injuries including for former Captain of the English Cricket Team, Nasser Hussain, and various British Superbike Racers.
In other Neurological & Urological Conditions HBOT particularly helps reduce Fatigue, Pain & Bladder Problems. For Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer Disease and other Progressive Conditions, HBOT may help to increase time and quality of life before Progression. Stimulating neural pathways, enabling recovery even after Trauma, HBOT maximises response to mental & physical treatment which we aim to provide at our Centre.
