BASIS is a charity supporting visually impaired and blind people across South Essex. We run a Resource centre in Basildon from which we can demonstrate equipment, offer tech support and help with form filling. We run activity groups, provide a home visiting service to assess people’s sight loss needs, befriending, eye clinic support from our liaison officer as well as awareness raising of the needs of those with a visual impairement to the sighted community.
Our services are available in Basildon, Billericay, Brentwood, Wickford, Thurrock, Rayleigh, Rochford, Benfleet and some surrounding areas.
