Acres Way Kennels has been caring for dogs over 25 years. We look after both boarders and strays and provide a high level of attention to every dog within the centre. We take in strays for Southend, Rochford, CastlePoint and Basildon Councils, as well as from members of the public.
To accommodate the rising number of strays we rebuilt our kennels in early 2000 to beyond licenced standards to hold 85 boarders and strays. Every dog has access to a comfy heated and air-conditioned inside kennel and a covered outdoor run.
Opening hours:
Rescue centre – 10am until 3pm Monday – Sunday
Boarding dogs – 9am until 4pm Monday – Friday / 9am until 3pm Saturday and Sunday (earlier and later drop off times are available but must be confirmed in normal working hours)
