Parking:
Limited on-site parking but a car parking space can’t be guaranteed. We suggest learners consider car sharing, use public transport or if possible walk to the centre. Learners travelling by car are suggested to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of their course.
Childcare:
Little Learners (Ofsted registered) for children from birth to 5 years. The cost is £11 per morning or afternoon session. Parents can use their Early Years Free Entitlement Funding to pay childcare fees. The nursery opening times are from 9.15am to 3.15pm. Priority for places is given to learners attending courses at the centre. You do not need to attend a course to use our childcare facilities. People do not have to remain on site whilst their children are in the nursery.
ACL, part of Essex County Council, offers a wide range of daytime and evening adult learning courses. These courses can help you with your health and wellbeing, improve your job prospects, learn a new skill, or simply inspire you.
It is the largest adult learning provider in Essex and has ten centres across the county. You can take popular courses like mindfulness, cookery skills, languages, or digital skills, for example. In addition, ACL offers courses that lead to a qualification, like accounting, counselling, GCSEs, first aid, free maths and English, as well as many more.
