A social group in Basildon for working age stroke survivors and their family. The group runs fortnightly on a Monday. The group helps stroke survivors meet others with similar problems, build confidence in a social situation and support each other. The carers/partners get as much out of the group as the stroke survivors themselves. Each member is encouraged to talk as much or as little about their stroke, issues they have and just every day things.
