Looking for affordable ways to keep the children entertained this summer? Head to The Baytree Shopping Centre for a fantastic programme of FREE arts and crafts activities throughout the school holidays, alongside the -popular Baytree Beach.
Taking place every Tuesday from 10am until 3pm, The Great Baytree Craft Along offers a different themed craft adventure each week, giving children the chance to get creative while parents enjoy a fun and affordable day out.
🦄 Tuesday 28th July – Unicorn Craft Kingdom
Create magical unicorn-themed crafts, colourful keepsakes and enjoy a world of glitter, rainbows and creativity.
🦸 Tuesday 4th August – Pow! Bam! Create!
A superhero-inspired craft session where children can design masks and comic-style creations. Saint Francis Hospice will also be joining us with Frankie the Lion, a superhero colouring activity, charity hamper raffle and information about their fantastic work in the local community.
🧱 Tuesday 11th August – Build It at The Baytree
Perfect for budding builders, this hands-on craft session encourages children to design, build and create. Active Essex will also be joining us with football keyring making, hoopla and a fun “Stick the Football on the Goal” challenge.
🦖 Tuesday 18th August – Jurassic Craft Zone
Travel back in time for dinosaur-themed crafts, prehistoric creations and roaring fun. Saint Francis Hospice returns with Frankie the Lion, a charity hamper raffle and the chance to learn more about the incredible work they do.
The Baytree Beach is open daily from 10am until 4pm (weather permitting) and is completely FREE to enjoy. Children can build sandcastles, play in the sand and soak up the summer atmosphere while parents and grandparents relax nearby.
