Blossom Home Care has partnered with Uttlesford District Council, Alzheimer’s UK and a number of local rural pubs to host Dementia Friendly Pub Afternoons across Uttlesford.
These free monthly sessions provide a welcoming and familiar environment for people living with dementia, those at risk of social isolation, and their families and carers.
Visitors can enjoy games, activities, conversation and opportunities for cognitive stimulation, while also accessing information and support from local organisations and community services.
No booking is required – simply drop in to the participating pub on its designated Wednesday afternoon.
